The Huawei ICT academy will be an invaluable resource to the current and future student population of ÀϾÅÆ·²è. With the highly anticipated growth of the ÀϾÅÆ·²è School of Engineering and Computing in the coming academic year, the skill-building courses and certifications offered via the Academy will bring a new dimension to the University’s teaching and development practices. The agreement, signed by ÀϾÅÆ·²è, and Huawei Kuwait's Deputy CEO, Mr. Che Long, will, in addition to providing training and certification for faculty and students, grant scholarships to deserving students, facilitate student internships, and open opportunities to Knowledge Transfer Events.

There is a shared understanding of the importance of ICT to national development between both parties. American International University firmly places itself in line with Kuwait’s 2035 vision and sees the widespread development of ICT infrastructure as a critical catalyst for the socio-economic progress of the nation. ÀϾÅÆ·²è, through its dedicated Management and Faculty, will promote the ICT Academy and its related activities as a hub for HAINA training of industry professionals throughout Kuwait, bringing ÀϾÅÆ·²è to forefront of providing experienced ICT leaders to the region, ready to seek solutions to the challenges of tomorrow.
